Race for the Cure 2026: run together, live together — the Gourmetaly spirit returns to the streets

This year again, Gourmetaly is proud to take part in the Race for the Cure, the flagship initiative organized by Susan G. Komen to support the fight against breast cancer.

RACE FOR THE CURE

There are experiences that go beyond travel, beyond food, beyond storytelling. They are moments when a community comes together, walks (or runs) in the same direction, and transforms a simple gesture into something greater. Once again, Gourmetaly joins the Race for the Cure with enthusiasm, embracing its powerful mission.

An event that brings people together

The Race for the Cure is not just a race: it’s a celebration of life, prevention, and solidarity. In Rome, as in many cities around the world, thousands of people gather every year to share a strong and clear message: together, we can make a difference. Gourmetaly food tours, always focused on authentic experiences and the values that connect people, renews its commitment by joining with its own team. It’s not about pace, it’s not about time — what truly matters is being there.

The taste of sharing

For us, travel is connection. It’s sitting at a table with strangers who become friends, discovering the stories behind each dish, and experiencing a place through its people. Taking part in the Race for the Cure is just the same: a collective experience made of energy, smiles, and awareness. Walking together also means supporting those facing difficult challenges, celebrating survivors, and remembering those who are no longer with us. It’s a simple gesture, yet full of meaning.

This year, we want to make this moment even more special. For the first 30 people who join the Gourmetaly team, we’ve prepared a small but meaningful symbol to take with you: at the finish line, you will receive the official Susan Komen pin as a gift. A tangible sign of participation, but above all a memory of a shared experience filled with real emotions.
