DiVin pensiero is a multi-sensory team building activity that aims at developing individual and group creativity
Making a wine label can be a unique and creative educational and social activity.
It can be realised in-house, in wineries, wine bars and event spaces, even online.
Why wine?
Wine is a wonderful experience that involves all our senses. Nothing like the scent of wine, in fact, can amaze and excite. Awaken memories hidden in the drawers of our memory.
Renew an emotion or imprint new memories in our minds. The scent of wine tells us about its composition, its history, its tradition and the territories that give it birth.
For as long as man has existed, there has been no other beverage like wine. A drink that provides a wonderful meeting ritual with food. Bringing into play ancestral and familiar memories, and a reconnection with one’s own taste that can only come about by recovering a fundamental element: the sense of time.
Wine speaks to us. About the history of those who produced it, about the land on which the vine has its roots, about nature an time. Colour, as is well known, is light and emotion. Admiring the colour of a wine means grasping its secrets and working on our emotional side.
How the activity takes place.
We will taste wine together, talking about the place of the producer, his life and history. Enveloped in aromas we will leave plenty of room for our imagination, recovering emotions from the past, or discovering new ones. Giving them form and translating them into a visual representation that will result in the graphic realisation of a label.
Starting from the sensations aroused by tasting, we will propose exercises aimed at stimulating creativity. We will create mind maps, moving away from the stereotype, to produce original designs.
There is absolutely no need to ‘know how to draw’ or to have ‘artistic skills’: each participant will easily find their own way of expressing themselves, with their own personal style.
We will look at a selection of label examples, understand which layouts are the most readable and which ‘tell’ the product best.
DiVin pensiero is creativity and taste in its purest form.
This activity is ideal for corporate groups, groups of friends, design and wine enthusiasts, wine producers who want to create their own label. Or take advantage of the professionalism of IED Sommeliers and Teachers to imprint their own style. All necessary materials will be provided. At the end of the activity, each participant will recount his or her little creative journey by showing his or her final product: his or her label for the proposed wine
