The idea of optimizing lunch or dinner time with a walk through the amazing streets and square of the Eternal city was successful. But went even further.
To be honest, for the citizens of Rome, a food tour is not a new thing. Since ancient times it was customary to walk after eating, often and then start over. We all remember the classic Sunday walk after the gargantuan lunch prepared by our grandmothers.
As well as the classic street foodies escapades, with our teenage friends.
All of us, at least once in our life, have assumed the remains of a Cicero.
Guiding our “foreign” friends and relatives to discover the most hidden and loved corners of Rome. Which then almost always correspond to the places of childhood and adolescence. Places of the heart, in a nutshell, which is always nice to find, but above all, to share. That is why, when in 2012 (started 2013), the idea of ​​offering food experience to all the gourmet travellers of the world was born. The path of the tour was born easy, from the heart.

Starting from the idea of one foodie, Daniela, followed by Francesca, the staff enlarged quickly.
With Valeria, Antonia, Alessandra, Federica, Flavia, Veronica, Clelia, Martina, Lisa, Anastasia, Chiara, Giorgia, Ilaria. In 2019, finally, a boy joined the staff, Claudio. Gourmetaly is, indeed, a top female-friendly Company. There is no intent to compose a gender staff. Simply has been easier to find skilled foodies among women. Anyway, by nature, women are more oriented to fill flexible roles in working hours, they are passionate about food and cooking. Women have a natural predisposition towards sharing and communication. In our experience, female-dominated staff means empowerment, flexibility, collaboration and understanding. Dreaming, anyway, for an expansion of the staff to a largern number of men. But no difference will ever be applied to working conditions based on gender. In other words, gentlemen are warned that they will have to work just as much as women.

In nine years of wine, pizza, pasta, supplì, ice-cream and tiramisù, we have met thousands of people.
Sharing with them energy and passion for gastronomic culture. For us, only a skilled, passionate and resident staff can provide an authentic quality service. We have guided cooking classes, wine tastings, team building activities, wine tours. Above all trying to leave a positive memory, to shorten the cultural distance, to make them feel at home. As only sharing the pleasure of good food can do. Behind every recipe there is a world, a world of history and stories, of legends and truth.
